Pinewood Country Estates has two lakes with picnic areas, and is surrounded by orange groves. Situated just off Country Road 545 (Old Lake Wilson Road) off the US 192 with its many attractions including Medieval Times, The Old Town and Water Mania, shops, a 24-hour Super Wal-Mart, food outlets and restaurants, and themed dinner shows including Arabian Nights.
Champion's Gate with its two Greg Norman designed championship golf courses and David Leadbetter Golf academy with a Publix supermarket and a Chinese take away is under 5 minutes away. The course at Reunion is even closer.Near by are also many other activities such as theatres, fishing, air boat and helicopter rides, go karting, horse riding and water sports.
Disney World is a 15 minute drive away, while Universal Studios will take 25 minutes.
Cocoa beach and the Kennedy Space Centre can be reached in about an hour’s drive. Tampa and Busch Gardens can be reached within a 40 minute drive.
Orlando International Airport is 40 minutes away.
