Situated in Downtown Disney, the Rainforest Cafe is shaped like a volcano, and the interior has an ecology and animal theme.
The lush, heavily vegetated interior features calls of the wild, unique animal-style barstools and intermittent eruptions of the volcano, which causes scenery to shudder and lights to dim. The latter may frighten younger children.
Try one of the signature dishes, such as the "Rasta pasta", bowtie noodles mixed with spinach, roasted red peppers, broccoli, and parmesan cheese and smothered in a garlic-pesto sauce.
Whatever else you do, make a point to order the coconut bread pudding with dried apricots, whipped cream, toasted coconut and chocolate shavings...it makes the wait forgivable.
The Rainforest Cafe has been voted "Best Kid-friendly" restaurant for it's pumping jungle rhythm's and children's menu.

At peak times, lines can be a real bore here - we once waited 90 minutes for a table! So we recommend that you come to Downtown Disney a couple of hours before you want to eat, book a table at the desk, and then go and do some sights and shopping before eating.
